FIFTY. YEARS. OLD. As of Friday. Beth and the kids had a little birthday party for me at home on Friday; they got me some grilling accessories (glove, coal tools), a fire poker, and a new softball bag for the bats and balls. Nice. Then we went out to dinner at BWW.....Beth had her sleep study this week, wearing a funny contraption that measured how much or how well she was breathing. She's not sure what it's going to show, and not sure what she'd like it to show or not.....Mom's home called during the week and apologized for not letting me know when I was there last week, but she is out of toothpaste and I need to bring them some. So during the week I made a special trip to FW to drop off some toothpaste for Mom. While I was there, they asked if I could take away the Ikea chair and the area rug, both of which are in the way, especially the rug, which interferes with rolling the lift machine over to her bedside. She never uses the chair any more, she wouldn't be able to get in and out of it. So I took them home, not sure what to do with them. I'll probably donate them. Speaking of which, I found out that's what happened to Mom's bed when the hospice delivered the hospital bed. It was in storage for a while and I never came to pick it up, so they donated it. Yeah, they never called me to let me know I needed to get it. I didn't know where it was, and nobody I asked at the home did either.....
