The continuing saga of the refi. I got something new from the VA yesterday, about obtaining a certificate of eligibility with some condition removed...why does this come in only a few days before closing? ...so I was on the phone with VA trying to deal with this, and was told by the person on the phone that it was a mistake, they've corrected it, and it has been sent to the lender. That sounded to me like the kind of thing that wouldn't actually be reality once I was off the phone, but NFCU does in fact have a corrected form! So that's good! Still on to close Friday.
