OK, so I've spoken to the appraiser and pointed out that the fireplace is not ventless, and also scraped and painted the window she noted in her report. I got the windows painted juuuuust before she showed up to verify the items outstanding were done on Sunday, so that was good. Now the NFCU agent is trying to get the updated appraisal, but with the holidays coming the closing is being pushed back to January 2nd. And then I get a notification later on yesterday that someone somewhere still thinks I need some stupid form filled out because of an unvented fireplace. We've gone round and round about that fireplace a couple times now, I hope someone there figures it out soon.
