I am now home from Vancouver. I've spent more time in Canada than in the USA lately. And seriously, I have lost count of how many times I've been sent there. But I think this may have been the last time, unfortunately, as the Columbia City Iotron plant is likely the future. But this was a good trip. I left for Canada on Monday, and had a good few days worth of work to get the validation done, but as nearly always there was a little slop time left over, since they tend to just hit it hard to get everything done as quickly as possible and get back to production there. And honestly, the validations there are practically automatic. So when I had a day free yesterday, I thought about trying the Grouse Grind one more time, but the weather wasn't really cooperating. It cleared up a bit by afternoon, but by the time I got near there the top of Grouse Mountain was in the clouds, and there wasn't enough daylight left. So, Lynn Canyon it was. I got in a lot of hiking and geocaching. And Tuesday, I happened upon a cache in the woods that contained only a collection a ceramic jewelry and pottery made by the cache owner, with an invitation to just take, no trade. So I took a cool "crumpled" mug for Beth.
