I feel so grown up...I had my first biopsy this week! Tuesday, I went to the doctor to have a mole on my back removed. I'd seen him a week ago and he thought it was "probably nothing" but agreed it was abnormal and should be removed. So, I had a chunk of my back cut off and sent away. A couple of stitches and some pain pills. Later on, the Cub Scouts roamed around the neighborhood of Lincoln School picking up trash along the roads. We got several bags full, but I'm not sure anyone will notice because there is a lot of stuff needing to be picked up. Friday, the Cub Scout pack was manning a table downtown at First Fridays, making and selling candy derby cars. We used icing as glue to stick M&Ms (wheels) and a gummi bear (driver) onto a small Snickers bar (car). We helped kids who needed help making them and sold them for 50 cents each. Overall, we turned a profit of $36, I think it was. The weather was a bit sketchy, especially at first, so I wasn't sure how the turnout would be, and overall it was kinda light. But we did good. I brought our canopy and set it up so we'd have some cover, which turned out to be a good thing because it did rain for a while. Saturday, Beth and I had a date night and went out to see "Thor" in 3D. Talk about a waste of effort...the 3D effects in the movie were worthless. The movie itself was OK...just another superhero movie.
