Beth is still really sore. And we have no child care set up for the coming week because she wasn't supposed to be this sore this long. We've had friends taking care of them for quite a while so we're just going to have to make the best of it, I think. Last Wednesday I was late to work so I could get them ready for school; Kate picked them up and took them home afterwards and I picked them up there after work. Then we went shopping for dinner (instead of McD's or something) and grilled. Thursday I was late to work again to get them up and ready and they spent all day with Tina; and afterwards Beth was able to go to Alex's preschool graduation with the rest of us. Friday Kate picked the kids up in the morning and took them to Lorraine's for the afternoon. Saturday I took the kids out in the afternoon to go bowling, since they've been asking to go (Missy dropped a ball on her foot...twice), then to a couple garage sales (where Alex found a toy that he had to have, but doesn't work). Beth was was well enough to have date night in the evening; we kad Katie babysit while we went out to dinner and to see the new Narnia movie with Churchills. I took them to church this morning while Beth stayed home, but we did go to movie night. We'll see how things go this next week.
