03-12-2006...Today is Alex's 3rd birthday. He's done pretty well for himself, I'd say. We've been talking for a few weeks now about how we would get to go to Chuck E. Cheese's when he put his pee in the potty, and a couple days ago he did it for the first time. He hasn't done it again yet, and I think it was more a situation of good timing, but he did it. Of course, he wanted to go directly to Chucky Jesus as soon as he did it, but he seemed to accept that we would do it in a couple days. Gramma has been here for a few days now, so she got to be here for the big potty event. And for Chuck E. Cheese's, too. Auntie Laura and Thomas came down on Saturday with Ben for Alex's birthday party. Alex got a tent, a fire engine play hut, some videos, a lot of hot wheels and hot wheels play sets, trucks, crayons...and all sorts of stuff.
