Beth is finally feeling better. Actually, for the first time in about 6 weeks she says she feels good. She's gotten better to the point where we can do things like go watch the parade (last Wednesday) and go to the fair. She even worked at an antiques store booth at the fair Friday afternoon and still feels pretty good. We went out to dinner and to the auction last night (I bought an electric grinder for $12.50) and were going to be babysitting all day today but the parents cancelled on us (how often does it happen that way?) so we went shopping instead. We found a nice dresser for the guest room and put it on layaway, and got a few odds & ends.
